@sherlock_hulmes I got mine via my uncle gifting it to me in his will - one of the coolest things I own, but I wouldn't wish that gifting method on anyone!
@VHIT_Mckimmie@pox_world It was a truly wonderful selection of work across vector and skin biology- I particularly enjoyed @EntomosOswin's presentation on the impact of interrupted feeding, Guy Caljon's work on early responses in the skin to trypanosomes and of course @felixhol's biteOscope!
Very much enjoying the joint #KSVectorBiology23 and #KSSkinImmune23 conference (but maybe not the altitude sickness!). Was very proud to present my PhD work on LSDV transmission and vector saliva done with @pox_world- check out my poster this evening at #1006 if you missed it!
So proud that after four years of study, I passed my viva! So many thanks to @pox_world especially my supervisor Prof. Pip Beard, and to my assessors @emipondeville and @fodorlab for a brilliant discussion. #PhDone#DPhilneshed
@emipondeville@pox_world@fodorlab It was a total pleasure to discuss my work with you, you had really interesting insights! Hopefully see you again at some point :)
