And in the end, I do not see him getting new trial, all we learned is that both young men had/have severe impulse control and complete lack of parenting. Pretty sad. Karmelo could have chosen NOT to have a knife in his backpack. He could have chosen NOT to use a knife. He makes different choices, no jail.

@jdmiles11 TBO, neither of these kids were good kids. I would not let my daughter date either of them. I understand the agreement better now, to focus on the events of that morning. Because that is what the case is about. remove both backgrounds, a shove doesn't warrant a stabbing.

@kimmybanks_ @jdmiles11 Easiest explanation, they were lying about his perfect image. What receipts did they bring? In a court of law, neither side is bringing anything to table without actual proof. So anything either side says in that court is the truth, not what his parents or advocates said.
