In #Mozambique, communities have taken to the streets to protest the election outcomes. The government's response has been marked by violence and intimidation, with over 400 Africans detained and many injured or killed.

Authorities have deployed armoured vehicles from the riot police, and numerous heavily armed officers, with helicopter support, have engaged in running battles with demonstrators amid the pervasive scent of tear gas across most neighbourhoods in Maputo.

We stand united with the people, demanding an end to state violence and a call for adherence to the rule of law and international agreements!
