So the team ended up deciding on Paris and an African excursion instead of going to Greenland. Here's why:
-- A man needs rest and time to enjoy life and mull the next steps. Should we just stick to managing our own money? Create more partnerships, a hedge fund? Who knows?
-- Apparently Greenland is inundated with "journalists" right now. Not gonna name names but some of them are bonafied dimwits and that's a posse I'd rather not join.
-- Greenland positions were starting to feel stale and so I got out this morning. They are solid and would probably do fine, but I like the idea of having some cash around in these volatile times.
-- Here's why they're solid: Greenland and Denmark politicians have said on the record there's no question of giving up sovereignty. Also, there is a clause in the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 prohibiting the president from unilaterally withdrawing the US from NATO without either the advice and consent of 2/3 of the US Senate or a separate act of Congress authorizing withdrawal. This makes any order to invade Greenland an illegal one that would likely be rejected by top military brass.
-- My FV for NO on https://t.co/iKuaiapnNZ is maybe 88-90% and for https://t.co/oIGfUcvgDS NO is 99%. This is not financial advice just my opinion. I am not a certified financial advisor (or in this case a psychiatrist) so no professional expertise there ;)
-- I am outtie 5000 on both because stale bonds are a real thing. Of course now that I'm out, they'll both probably go up immediately. But guess what: consolidating gains, peace of mind, and relaxation are priceless!
