Time to do a #MedTwitter intro now that RCas is out of my hands.
Hi, I’m Noah and I’m #EMBound for #Match2026!

This morning at 6 a.m. Pacific health care workers at Kaiser Permanente walked out on strike.
75,000 workers just launched the biggest strike the U.S. health care industry has ever seen.
Starting my #m2 Longitudinal Integrated Clerkships today! What are some key tips y’all gave for how to succeed in each of the #coreclerkships ? #MedStudentTwitter
The Supreme Court's decision to strike down affirmative action, including in professional schools, like medical and nursing, will have detrimental consequences on Black health for generations to come. This is about life & death for us. Today, we are only 5% of physicians.
If you think 24h shifts in medical training are good b/c they give you insight into what being an attending in a given speciality is like, you should also ask why are attendings working 24 hour (& longer) shifts?
Two more while we’re at it:
3) Tying insurance coverage to employment is a broken system.
4) Our country has only ever reactionary responses to the errors of our insurance system, and doesn’t take the time for proactive responses.
Two health systems takeaways from the CoVID-19 pandemic:
1) In a country without universal healthcare, requiring doctor’s notes for absences is inherently classist.
2) If they have to pay to prove the severity of their illness, employees will end up coming to work sick.
hey #MedTwitter would love any tips and tricks on getting better at simple suturing! i’m an M1 who hasn’t been formally taught yet, but wanted to try my hand at it. starting my longitudinal core rotations in a couple months and would like to be adept by then!
We as a body of physicians must take a hard look at the data on sleep & do away with the archaic model of medical training that sleep deprives & dehumanizes young doctors.
Sleep deprivation should not be seen as a rite of passage of training, but as a violation of human rights.
Feeling extra grateful today for all the doctors who have shaped me thus far in my path to becoming a physician, and for those I’ve yet to meet who I know will play an integral part in my professional development. #NationalDoctorsDay2023
