@JCColtin Bill was a warrior and never swayed from charting his own principled path, regardless of whether it was “popular”. One of a very few public servants who didn’t check the polls before acting. He will be missed.
@sal_licata@WFAN660 Sal, you’re the best sports guy in NYC,
but if you’re advocating for the Yankees to sign Judge at all costs, which I agree with, shouldn’t we at least question whether the guy will perform in the clutch and lead/the Yankees to a ring & earn that money??

For too long, it was accepted that some children attend ”good” schools, and others “bad” ones. Not anymore. We heard our families and students calling for Equity now, and we won’t rest in our work to make every school a *great* school. WATCH: https://t.co/oVubJolqn4 #EEforAll

@AOC at Education Town Hall exhorts country to fight for kids and public education with the same energy as the #GreenNewDeal will fight against climate change. Amen!
@andrewrsorkin $500 million was a pre-investment cash outlay which indeed could and would instead be spent on other things like schools, housing, etc rather than on Amazon.
@LindseyChrist@NY1 Congratulations Lindsey. You've been incredible. Parents, students, and all involved in education and indeed in this City will miss you. Good luck on your next challenge.
@lesliebrody@WSJ@lesliebrody great reporting. One thing unreported tho is @SuccessCharters REAL attrition rates. Yes 76 started but with backfilling we believe over 110 students were in that first class at one point or another. And still only 16 graduated. Can you find/report the true numbers?
Yesterday we were in Albany demanding the Governor fund CFE! 12 years now and still not fully funded! Leadership changes are overdue! Thank you @AQE_NY for continuing the fight. We will always advocate for our children!
If anyone should be removed because of dereliction of duty it’s Governor Scott and Republican legislators who cowered behind the NRA & blocked action on AR-15s even after Columbine, Pulse, Las Vegas...@CNN
@BrianLehrer@IsaacDovere@politico I think Brian misses the last caller’s last important point. Cruz KNEW that an armed guard was on campus and it still didn’t deter him.
