I'm thinking about crossing this over to PSA. What's everyone's take on having a grade on a 1/1 vs. it just saying authentic? Especially since this probably wouldn't get a 10. @CardPurchaser
@Brake7878Jeremy@CardPurchaser Yeah I agree with that. For some reason, when I see a card graded authentic, I start to worry there's some issue with it.
@SCN_Pod Geoff even said in a recent video that the breaking arm of the business gets far more allocation than CardsHQ (the store) does, which is wild to me.
@SCN_Pod My worry is that big trusted retailers could potentially verify and "seal" the boxes in cellophane and sell them as verified sealed to make more money on them. I really hope this works though, I think it's a good idea, I'm just surprised they'll be shipping from Topps this way.
Folarin Balogun will be available to play the USMNT’s round of 16 match against Belgium, with his one-game red-card ban that he received against Bosnia and Herzegovina suspended.
Article 27 of FIFA’s disciplinary code states that “the judicial body may decide to fully or partially suspend the implementation of a disciplinary measure.”

@tm1515152005 I recently launched https://t.co/oGkYqzaL6S a new digital repack product that let's you get 100% buyback offers in store credit and let's you buy any card off the checklist directly!
CELLY10 gets you $10 off your first pack.
@BiggzyRips Congrats! I've been following your videos for a bit now and just started posting content myself. Appreciate the videos of you talking about your process and business.
@dstrehle76@CardPurchaser Lots of good options. MarketMovers and CardLadder are great paid options. 130point can be used to look at past eBay sales. If you're looking up graded PSA cards, one of the best ways to see sales it to just look up the certification number and it'll show recent sales.
@AndyZiegler10@CardPurchaser Congrats! I love the ultraviolets. I'd probably take the buyback offer on the Brady though. Does Arena Club let you request new offers later? That's probably the only way I'd hold for a bit.
@AddictedHoosier@CardPurchaser I'm 0 for 60 so far, I bought a bunch of the Topps now cards for the NBA playoffs, so hopefully I do better this time. I don't know why I keep trying 😂
Yeah, I was using Alt as an aggregator for other market places, I was able to pull listings from there and use an LLM to assign a relevance score.
What I really wanted was something that was able to search Instagram/twitter posts, but that's tricky. I tracked down a /10 F1 card for about 6 months last year and randomly found someone who posted about it on instagram which led to the purchase, but would be cool if some of that could be automated.
@phinstonedcards I hope it wouldn't get your wallet in trouble 😆 but https://t.co/oGkYqzaL6S launched recently if you want to give that a go. I'm planning to roll out fantasy-style rewards by the football season for cards you have in your collection. CELLY10 for $10 off.
@Braddigan89@CardPurchaser Ah makes sense, seems reasonable. I haven't found any pricing APIs that work at scale (that are free), which is why I asked!
@hobbymonitor@CardPurchaser I was thinking about building something for this, but if you don't already have it, it might be cool to have a feature that will alert users when rare cards are posted somewhere. Like eBay alerts, but more broadly across the web.
@Shagging_Flies@CardPurchaser Do you find it's able to actually able to catch minor issues that would be caught during grading? Cool if so, just a bit skeptical ChatGPT/Claude/etc would catch those.
