I spent the first eight months of the war working as a data analyst. I watched virtually every clip filmed by Hamas terrorists on their own cameras and uploaded to social media, over and over again.

The paragliders. Civilians being abducted. Terrorists breaking into homes in the southern communities. Israelis being shot inside their own houses. Crowds in Gaza cheering and dancing while thousands more crossed the border to murder, rape, loot, and abduct.

And throughout the war, more footage kept emerging.

Hamas terrorists in civilian clothes firing mortars from tents and ambushing soldiers who were there searching for our hostages. Terrorists running in and out of residential buildings carrying RPGs and assault rifles, fighting from within civilian infrastructure and then disappearing back into it.

I have also watched countless videos of crowds chanting, “Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, October 7 will return.” Children calling for Jews to be killed. Hamas leaders like Ismail Haniyeh openly talking about exploiting civilian suffering to mobilize the region.

I could say that the day Palestinians sit down and watch the atrocities they committed would be the day I sit down and watch a movie selling me their propaganda.

But after watching October 7 celebrated, glorified, and openly promised again, I’m convinced they would probably enjoy it.
