242 years ago - today- one of my Kupunawahine, Kānekapōlei could see and sense in her na’au something wasn’t right about the way Captain Cook and his men approached the mō’ī Kalani’ōpu’u. Her cry to action is what saved Kalani’ōpu’u’s life and also what killed Captain Cook.
