@GinaGoesOutside My older brothers named our Lhasa also/poodle mix Helicopter. Apparently the other name in contention was Potato. Made for some very confusion conversations as a child!

@kattenbarge One of my babies booked a table for two at a restaurant where my parents live, an hour away. Fortunately, my parents were free that night and took advantage of the reservation!
@offgridteacher I was told to do them on my prep, which is the time that I use for prepping my classes, writing IEPs, contacting or meeting with families, holding IEP meetings, meeting with other teachers, and peeing.
@unsafeturtle A simple and honest, "Welcome, I'm glad you're here." would sooth a lot of hearts. We don't want special treatment and we don't wanted to be treated differently, but it's so nice to know where we are safe and accepted.
@brosandprose As scary as asking for support can be, there are incredible organizations like @wearehernetwork that can make a difference in the lives of survivors.
