The more often people drink.. there are neural changes in the brain that make people more habitual and more impulsive outside the times they are drinking. I’m amazed. @hubermanlab thanks for always bringing this knowledge to the public.
Listening to @hubermanlab discuss the effects of alcohol..
4-13% increase of cancer risk per 10g of alcohol (one beer a day approximately) particularly breast cancer
Reduce cortical thickness of the brain (decreased blood flow = Alzheimer’s risk)
Alter gene and DNA expression
Substantial damage to organs and cells because it’s water and fat soluble
Reduced ability to form memories
Liver takes a beating and it is the poison acetaldehyde itself that makes us drunk.
A poison induced state that disrupts our neural circuits. 😐
I understand what I’m asking God for. Nothing in my life can can average.
Not my mind
Not my body
Not my spirit
Not my work ethic
Not my friendships
Not my relationship
Nothing.
@DimeDropperPod Hear me out, D Lo (who i dont think we should trade unless it’s for Buddy Hield or PG hypothetically) only reason is we get a two way player that can score as well if not better than D Lo.
I’m upset the Lakers lost and my man Lebron not getting his 5th this year... But love Jamal Murray and Jokic as basketball players and Jimmy Butler working as hard as he does.. man kudos to them and their squads. Love seeing hard working people win.
