I don’t know about you, but the government didn’t recognize me as a living human being until I had a birth certificate. Can you imagine trying to get a social security number for an unborn child? Yeah. Good luck with that.

What we have, now, is a situation where a physician can look at a woman who has been recognized by the U.S. government as a human being-who also likely has a birth certificate and a social security number-who is going to die without a life saving procedure, who is carrying a baby without a heartbeat…..never to be issued a birth certificate, or be recognized as a human being by the Social Security Administration- and the government also says “This woman whose life we do recognize? Yeah, we’ll have to let her die, so we don’t offend evangelicals regarding the now deceased baby that we would never even have recognized as a human being…until a birth certificate had been signed…even if the baby DID have a heartbeat.”

Make this make sense. Wait. Stop. You can’t.

Republicans certainly don’t seem to be trying to appeal to Generation Z.

Now Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican presidential candidate, wants to remove almost all Generation Z adults from the voting rolls, unless they serve in the US military, work as a first responder or pass a civics test.

Ramaswamy believes these conditions should apply to everyone between the ages of 18 and 25 years of age.

He literally wants to create a new constitutional amendment to do so.

I hope this isn’t representative of most Republicans’ views. Do most republicans support this seemingly crazy idea? If you’re going to do this, then would you also support doing the same for gun ownership?

BREAKING: A large group identified as the “Patriot Front” have been matching around the US Capitol building and National Mall this afternoon.

The Patriot Front is a hate group in the United States that espouses white nationalism and neo-fascist ideologies. It originated from the broader alt-right movement and broke away from the neo-Nazi group Vanguard America following the Unite the Right rally in 2017.

A Trump supporter complained to me recently that I talk about January 6th too much. “Joe, nobody cares about January 6th. I mean, what’s more important - January 6th or the invasion at our border?”

I told him January 6th was more important to me. He asked me why. I told him because Donald Trump tried to end our democracy on January 6th. He tried to end our democracy. And preserving our democracy, I told him, is way more important to me than what’s happening at the border. Suffice to say, he didn’t agree.

@KerotinHair my heat cap has melted parts in the microwave even though I’ve followed directions and reduced the heat time. The first handful of times was fine at 90 seconds, but now it melts. What do I do? I’m really disappointed.
