🐾VIDEOUPDATE ON K9 BRUNO: Park City K-9 Bruno jumps from overpass, handler rushes to comfort him on I-80.

Park City Police have released video of the September 15 incident that left K-9 Bruno seriously injured.

The video shows Bruno jumping from an overpass near the U.S. 40/I-80 interchange. His handler, Officer Henderson, races to his side, then lies down in the middle of I-80 to comfort his injured partner until medical help arrives.

The department conducted an internal review and requested an independent review by Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).

POST determined the officer deployed Bruno in accordance with standard K-9 tactics.

“Bruno is more than a police K-9. He's a partner, a companion, and part of our police family,” said Police Chief Wade Carpenter.

The newly released video includes the original 911 call, dashcam footage and the emergency response.

💔 A Cruel Death in Foshan, China

A heartbreaking video has emerged from Foshan, Guangdong.

A pug was reportedly discovered dead in the water, still wearing its harness, with its legs allegedly bound together using zip ties.

The person who discovered the dog believes it was deliberately drowned.

Imagine the terror this poor animal must have experienced if that account is true. Unable to move, unable to escape, desperately struggling to survive.

What kind of person could do something like this to a defenseless animal?

There is an important legal detail here. Foshan actually has local regulations explicitly prohibiting the abandonment and abuse of dogs. But the prescribed penalty for an individual abusing a dog is just RMB 2,000 (approximately $280).

China still lacks a comprehensive national law criminalizing cruelty to companion animals.

Laws mean little without meaningful consequences and enforcement.

This dog deserved love, safety and a peaceful life. Instead, its final moments may have been filled with unimaginable fear.

Whoever did this should be identified, investigated and held accountable under the law.

Rest in peace, little one. You deserved so much better. 💔
