Sincere apologies to the authorities for recently posting something which is deemed sensitive. I was not aware of it's sensitive nature as I took those images from open source Google Earth which is accessible to everyone. Moreover those images were from last year's December.

@Son_of_Wind_108 Building Multipurpose vessels is our doctrine. We have a lot of area to cover and few true blue water vessels. So currently making any decently sized vessel multipurpose makes sense. We simply can't afford to make our own Burkes in numbers.

Intresting inexpensive design. It isn't designed to fight in standalone situations, it's for increasing SAM magazine depth of a task force. Paired with other more capable vessels like Type-52DL/55 it's SAMs can be guided by them(CEC). So no need to add surveillance radar.

@Toxic__10_ Nilgiris are great but with 6700 Ton displacement they should ideally have 48 LRSAMs + 16 VLSRSAMs but RBUs and BrahMos bhi toh dalni hai na...
