hiked mt. marcy with the girlfriend a few days ago as a “last summer adventure”- backpacked in and camped at marcy dam to sandwich the day hike and make it 12mi day hike instead of 15. what an epic hike- i can’t get enough of the hike peaks!!! highest point in NY state (5343’)

just finished my Christchurch, NZ —> Moorea, Tahiti open ocean passage… feeling so accomplished and proud and also weird going back to normal life. 4700 miles, 20-30ft seas, 60kt winds, beautiful sunrises, amazing wildlife… what a wild trip. excited to share my adventure soon!
