@hudzah To elaborate, to go from .step to .nc is pretty much a point-and-click adventure these days.
Pick how you want to get there, pick where you want to cut, pick a tool and if everything is integrated as it should be, you're at least 90% of the way there if not more.
@hudzah this.. isn't really solving anything?
like.. how do i put this.. i'm not familiar with NX specifically, but this is like 5 clicks with fusion to get the same roughing toolpath.
CNC machine programming isn't really a problem that ever needed AI to be solved.
@yacinelearning so like..
if i'm learning by myself anyway
what's the point of college?
if the point of the institution is to make people learn things, but the learning happens outside of the institution, what is the point of the institution?
can't take yall seriously atp
@BlahBlehBleh3@mil000 all of that could be done on a single machine with a reasonably modern cpu
anything more powerful than a raspi is overkill for like 80% of home server applications
@chiefEoSh@realandrerlopes Many means and methods are available as workarounds (selection for traits, compost, pest predators). Industrial farming relies on said chains mostly for scale reasons.
'fucking vanish' is a funny term to use for a plant. They're rendered sterile for monetary reasons.
@realandrerlopes You yourself are forgetting how far we've come wrt to making farming in general more reliable and less dependant on soil and weather conditions. Not to mention what the industrial revolution did to preserving foods.
@jdxcode but it does? Any package they can't compile in nixpkgs, they download. Resulting downloaded binaries get patched and made compatible.
you seem dense
@dhh Good luck with that. Nobody's gonna maintain the fork because anyone whose brain got rotten well enough by repeated exposure to LLMs is not gonna bother actually supporting a fork.
You've got a hundred stooges standing by now, just wait until they get bored.
