Ngl...the Catholic event of the week I am most excited about is Pope Leo's visit to France.

In the words of @MgrMRouge, France is a "strange country," combining deep, deep Catholic roots with aggressive secularity. But something new is also happening within the "eldest daughter of the Church," as young adult conversions to Catholicism are surging.

As much as Pope Leo's visit is a confrontation with the ugliness of French secularism and hostility to life, it will also be a profound source of encouragement and inspiration for young people who are seeking God and for the local Catholic Church that is tasked with guiding them.
