@mapanauta @opengeospatial @BartDeLathouwer @nadinesa @trakasa In the future I’d like to see a wide adoption of standardised API (e.g. STAC-compliant) to access data in the cloud (S3 etc.). Would allow for easy acquisition of imagery from different missions for the area of interest, and easy metadata analysis.

@mapanauta @opengeospatial @BartDeLathouwer @nadinesa @trakasa Challenges: lack of unified APIs, disparate sources, lots of registration forms, not all data is available online (e.g. Sentinel Long Term Archive). Mostly UI access with poor or non-existent programmatic access.
