I have a maybe-controversial idea: If Muslims want to live among people with Western values without persecution or judgment, they should police their own communities and push out the radicals. The same strategy we’re not allowed to speak of in the US regarding Black communities — police your own.

Raise kids who do not fall victim to radical ideology. Report those who do.

Step one: The group as a whole admits there is a problem in their community (whether race- or religion-related).

Step two: Make it clear that the majority will no longer tolerate the minority’s behaviors that conflict with the norms of the society they wish to live in.

Step three: Protest the bad behaviors of the minority instead of supporting them when they cry victimhood.

Step four: Ensure the family structure is intact and raise kids with Western values. Those values can be rooted in Islam, Christianity, or whatever — as long as the religious ideology supports a democratic, Western form of government.

But instead, we get cities burned to the ground. Whites or Jews get blamed for the ruckus. Politicians defend the minority’s actions because the majority supports those activities and will vote for the politician who sides with the minority’s “rights.”

We have to wonder if it really is the minority who are radical or unworthy of our Western values.
