Best parts of 2023:

Watching James overcoming the obstacles to improve week in/out.

My youngest: Jack getting into football.

Losing over 5 1/2 stone in weight, feeling fitter and healthier.

And my dad finally retiring after 47 years!

Well, 2023 has gone.

Worst moment was James being released from a team cos he was too small and didn’t have any goals or assists (was CDM/LB)

For the remaining 7 games of the season they conceded 47 goals in 7 losses. Maybe they needed someone who could tackle? Just saying 🤷‍♂️

The ball kept going, and going, slipping just under the crossbar, into the goal.

The ref couldn’t believe it, shaking his head in his hands. We all laughed, (except our keeper).

Wouldn’t have affected the result and was a good crack 😊

@refsupportuk This morning the ref gave a foul near to our area, he looked at his watch, whistle to his mouth then dared the keeper taking the free kick to take a shot. While nodding to me that he was about to blow FT.
