@CoVet_81 In normal economic conditions, POTUS does not control commodity pricing, including oil. However, when a POTUS starts a war against an oil producing country, with no discernible end game, then he DOES control gas prices. But, you knew that and only want clicks
@JRVanHoose It is amazing…Ellis Johnson learned it from Jule and Sonny when MU played Morehead. Ellis started out running the UK power offense but changed to the fast break when he couldn’t get the size UK could. When he came to MU, he had Danny, Bob Redd, Jim Davidson, etc so why not run?
@Trace_Johnson94 You are too young to remember, but there was a lot of optimism going into 1974. Bud Nelson was a highly recruited quarterback, and most of us thought that Marshall would take a leap up that year
After a 4-7 1973.. It was, however, disappointing, and the team finished 1-10.
@Trace_Johnson94 Maybe. He had the advantage of a team full of talented players Perry Moss cheated to get - plus the athletes Bear Bryant parked at MU to keep them from SEC foes
