【それ、批判する前に知ってほしい】

WEST.活動終了の報告動画で、
神山智洋の「サングラス姿」に

「こういう時くらい外せなかったの？」
「ちゃんとした場なんだから外せ」

という声が出てるけど、
これにはちゃんと理由がある。

神山は2023年に、
照明をかなり眩しく感じるようになり病院を受診。
以前からの偏頭痛やドライアイもあり、
「視覚過敏」と診断されたことを明かしている。

治療法があるわけではなく、
色付きレンズなどで“目を守る”のが対策。

つまり今回のサングラスも、
カッコつけでも、ふざけてるわけでもない。

活動終了という衝撃だけでも大きい日に、
知らない事情だけ切り取って叩くのは違う気がする。

13年間走り続けたWEST.。
最後までメンバーの背景まで知った上で見たい。

間違いなく、一番大好きなグループでした。正直、ショックで寂しいです。

たくさんお世話にもなったし、
辛い時、何度もWEST.の音楽やライブからパワーをもらいました。
また7人の振り付けしたかったなあ。

これからそれぞれが進む道も応援しています。

7人の音楽をずっと聴き続けます。
