For ex lots of small towns don’t have enough players for both men’s and women’s so then a women should be allowed to plays on the men’s team

@KIN110UofR After discussing illegal sports in class on Tuesday, I looked up the penalty for cockfighting. Apparently you can get 6 months of jail time and fined $2000. It’s doubled in the states 😳 #illegalsports

@KIN110UofR I think scores are an important part of sport. It helps to drive the players to play hard and to win. If there is no winner or loser, sports would not be as fun or as entertaining #noscores

@KIN110UofR This could be said about many other sports as well. For example, dance is insanely expensive too! I think there needs to be a balance. A lot of parents get too caught up in trying to build an all star and forget that it’s supposed to be fun.

@KIN110UofR As discussed in class, there are many different reasons why someone would leave a sport. I think the most common reason is a big life change such as having a baby or moving. There are many ways to stay active in sport though if you really wanted to such as rec league or scrimmage

@KIN110UofR I was socialized into sports by my family, friends, and community. Being from a small town, I was asked by coaches to play on almost every sport offered around the area in order to have enough players. I wonder if my sport choices as a kid would have been different in a city

@KIN110UofR Indonesia plays fireball soccer! It’s like regular soccer but the ball is a coconut soaked in kerosine and lit on fire! AND no shoes are allowed! OUCH! The reason behind the sport is spiritual.
