Any other American evangelical Christians feeling increasingly isolated and finding good discipleship hard to come by because you still believe in science and refuse to worship the idol of political power? I just feel so alone.
Keith & I have the worst Christmas tree of our lives. Did we know Houston had a tree shortage? NO. He brought it in the house & I was so appalled I had to sit down & hold my head. He set the tiny haggard tree with 3 needles still on it in a corner & said, It’s name is Seabiscuit.
@areyes I’m involved in multiple “own voices” groups that use Latinx. It was first introduced by Hispanic/Latino/Latinx researchers, and is in use by Latinos. I don’t mind it and don’t mind Latine either. As you’ve pointed out, go with audience or individual preference.
@KyleJamesHoward I strongly dislike absolutist language, when discussing anything or anyone but the Almighty. Because anything human has a lot more nuance than that.

I’ve been accepted to grad school and prayerfully considering where to attend… considering not just the schools but also in which communities I’m most apt to find healthy churches to join.
