I researched where to go, what to do, where to stay, and even made hotel reservations. All he had to do was ask for time off from work and book the plane tickets.
Every week, I'd check in with him to see if he had asked for the time off and booked the tickets.
He always said he was waiting a bit longer to see if the prices would drop. Last week, I asked if he had purchased the tickets, and he said they were too pricey, so he didn't want to spend that much. He asked how much we'd lose if we canceled everything and suggested having a nice staycation at home.
