@PaulAustin3w When I was depressed and losing a lot of weight from not eating, I microdosed psilocybin and the mushrooms had me waking up in the middle of the night inhaling protein shakes and bananas. They were just like, EAT!!!
@BekLoverNYC@RealAlexJones Bek, of course they don’t really practice the heart of Islam. I read the Quran. But they do cherry pick verses totally out of context to support their twisted ideology. Islamists are a real problem and the Muslim community needs to acknowledge that.
@Kneelkashcarry@TBR24_7 Oh, is that why millions of Muslims live in Israel and enjoy the same freedoms as everyone else there? Is that what religious fanatics do?
@flowidealism My daughter is 5 and we homeschool. Sometimes she asks about school. Just two days ago she asked about this exact topic. She wanted to know what happens to mean kids at school and what the other kids do if they don’t want to be around them! 🤯
@BekLoverNYC@GovKathyHochul I don’t think any cultures should be given a national month of anything. It often feels performative and politicized. Cultural celebration feels more meaningful when it happens organically - within communities, through shared events and lived connection.
@hcolljr@David_Y3 Islam as a religion does not “fight hard” to keep underage marriage.
What happen is that some communities, scholars, or governments misuse religious language to defend cultural practices - often tied to poverty or weak legal systems.
@AttorneyF_@AkintundeAA01 The Qur’an explicitly places responsibility first on men, then on women.
“Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity…” (Qur’an 24:30)
“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity…” (24:31)
Both are responsible.
