@jduffyrice It’s so funny bc in my mind true “neutrality” from a university would be to allow diverse expressions of free speech, which, combined, would make up a neutral stance…
During the debate, Trump raised a conspiracy about immigrants eating cats. Is it the new blood libel?
Trump made a baseless allegation referring to an online conspiracy about Haitian immigrants in Ohio stealing and eating people’s cats and dogs.

Sorry but if you're picking an ENGLISH SPEAKING podcast most Israelis have never heard of or listen to as a damning representation of an entire people, then I'm learning from that more about you than about the aforementioned people.
I love how *some* Jewish Israelis detach what’s happening in the West Bank from themselves.
“Settlers do not represent Israelis”
“Settler violence is unacceptable”
My favorite - “it’s Lawlessness in the West Bank”
Habbi it’s an illegal occupation that you are a part of whether you like it or not and regardless of your political stance. All Israelis have a hand in it and have a responsibility towards educating themselves and those around them.
This is happening everywhere in the WB in different forms, you don’t need to wait for settlers to burn and kill a Palestinian to show your empathy and condemnation.
I’ve been back and forth to the West Bank for 2 weeks now and I’ll tell you this;
I’m meeting 3 types of Jewish Israeli kids;
The settlers, the soldiers and those who come with me using their privilege to fight for justice and break the cycle.
Who will you raise your kids to be?
2.5 years ago I wrote about Omar As'ad, a Pal-American grandfather who died at the hands of Netzah Yehuda, a unit infamous for human rights violations that gets significant financial support from a US-based nonprofit. Looks like Omar will not get justice after all.
🚨Scoop: Blinken told Israeli minister of defense the U.S. won't sanction IDF Netzah Yehuda Battalion for human rights violations in West Bank after concerns were remediated, U.S. and Israeli officials told me. My story on @axios

"Instead of simply being 2.4% of the U.S. population — a small minority whose vote is being courted, just like that of any other small minority — Jews have been turned into an idea that is used as a political cudgel."

1) Israeli intelligence is *deeply* embedded in Iran 2) If Israel can conduct such a targeted strike - no damage to adjoining rooms - it makes the indiscriminate bombing of an appt bldg in Gaza to take out a single Hamas operative even more horrific and strategically unnecessary.
BREAKING via The New York Times
Ismail Haniyeh was killed by an explosive device covertly smuggled into the Tehran guesthouse where he was staying.
The bomb had been hidden approximately two months ago in the guesthouse.
Once it was confirmed that he was inside the guesthouse, the bomb was detonated remotely.
The guesthouse is run and protected by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and is part of a large compound, known as Neshat, in an upscale neighborhood of northern Tehran.
