Associations between social media use and mental health are different for transgender and non-binary (TGNB) adolescents compared to cisgender teens. Social media might be protective for some TGNB youths, particularly when used in protective ways. https://t.co/tkwHMuKiXm
One thing I love about this is that Nolan is the same guy who said that filmmaking is a relatively young medium and we don’t yet know how far it can go. Other filmmakers have tried to justify using AI using this rationale, but it becomes clear here that AI was not what he meant
Christopher Nolan on AI:
“I’ve never seen a more rapid wholesale dismissal of a supposedly foundational jump in technology in my lifetime. So much energy has been expended on bringing in AI, but if you look at that generation’s reaction, they’re utterly rejecting it. [My children’s] judgment of AI slop has been immediate and harsh. They see it for what it is very quickly – and it’s much easier for them to identify it, because it grew out of an online world they know really well. And while that doesn’t mean that every aspect of the technology is useless or meaningless, in film-making it’s hitting at exactly the wrong time. After years of driving towards heavily virtual environments, we’re seeing a renewed interest in more tactile, more real forms of storytelling.”

For the last 46 years, it has been my privilege to work alongside countless talented artists and crews to create these characters, stories, and films for you all.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at the movies! DIGGER. Only in theaters this October.
@apostolfishbach@MCUsuperfan A lot of Mormons tend to be republican, but people (like Tyson) who have stepped away from the church tend to be more liberal
Without naming names, Joan Baez is frustrated by today’s ‘young women songwriters’ who fill up stadiums and refuse to take a political stance: ‘Because they’re already richer than God.’ https://t.co/ARmzchWpVr
