Learning to dare more during the highs and lows in life. More music, reading and sports for the people. And human rights for all. Love my kid and hubby.
Imagine the Anglo-American media reaction if the Kremlin had directly called FIFA during Russia 2018 asking it to review a card for a Russian player.
We’d still be getting Netflix documentaries about it.
BREAKING
The sky over South Lebanon is lighting up as if the sun has risen, yet it’s 9:30 p.m. Zionist Israel is unleashing some kind of new bomb, testing it on civilians. The explosions are massive, blinding, and unrelenting, terrorizing innocent people in their homes. What’s happening tonight is beyond anything anyone could imagine.
Please STOP leaving Black activists behind. We always show up. We always stand tall. And too often, we’re the ones left to fend for ourselves.
Okey Nnorom deserves the same global outrage and solidarity.

🇬🇧While being arrested, a protester recited a poem by 9-year-old Fatema Saidam, who was k!lled by 1$rael.
“Eyes are for looking & seeing sun,
Tongues are for greeting & saying fun,
Legs are for walking slowly & also run,
Hands are for shaking with friends Not for shooting gun”
Just a few meters away from us, entire families remain trapped beneath the rubble. There is no press here, no one to document this pain. For long hours, people have been trying to rescue them with nothing but simple tools, weak hammers that cannot break through the heavy concrete. There are no machines, no bulldozers, no rescue teams !!!
The ambulances never stop, their sirens tearing through the silence of the night. Darkness covers the city, and fear and chaos fill the streets. It feels as if we are living through the end of the world in these very moments.
Every passing minute takes another life. Those still alive beneath the rubble are slowly suffocating, and those who make it out alive emerge broken, bleeding, with no medicine and no treatment. The hospitals are helpless, the streets are overwhelmed with the injured, and the suffering is beyond what words can hold.
The situation here is catastrophic in every sense. The city is collapsing before our eyes, house by house, street by street, until its very features disappear. All that remains is dust, the smell of death, and the sirens of ambulances that never cease.
Save what is left of us before we all die. Stop this insane war.
Israel knows the number of Palestinians they can slaughter per day without attracting much media attention.
Western media has normalized daily massacres.
We have reached the point where Israel shooting at a clearly marked Doctors Without Borders vehicle—to prevent the delivery of WATER—is not even a news story.
At the Together 4 Palestine gig in London, Eric Cantona stood alongside ex-Palestinian player Mahmoud Sarsak, jailed 3 years by Israel, with a powerful reminder:
“FIFA and UEFA banned Russia 4 days after Ukraine. We’re 716 days into a genocide, and Israel still plays.”
I can't stop thinking about 1 sentence in today's UN report regarding Israel's genocide in Gaza.
"Israeli security forces shot at & killed civilians, including children who were holding makeshift white flags. Some children, including toddlers, were shot in the head by snipers.”
What’s the point in a UN report confirming Israel is committing genocide if they do not then, in turn, use every power they have to stop it — from sanctions and full divestment and arms embargoes, to assembling a military force to stop the genocide? What use is it?
