@MuseZack@Noahpinion Oof. You need to try better places in LA. The average place in SGV is way better than SF. And Toronto and Vancouver will be another tier above that.
@clhubes The room is….too clean. Do they have a cleaner? Or does the 2yo sleep not actually sleep there but with parents? Is this a bedroom for expecting parents who think their kid will clean up after themselves?
@Zero22350@the_transit_guy Yeah but all the new lines and ones in recent history are getting built while having to contend with existing infrastructure. Also don’t forget there’s archeological sites they need to navigate that NA cities have less of
@stevehind I wonder if they ran the experiment to account for cultural norms? Perhaps it’s “cold” to North Americans, but in my experience it’s common to hear/see that closing amongst my British/Irish/Antipodal colleagues

NYC: Times Square A/C/E to/from any other line. Long walkway but at least it’s straight.
Paris: Chatelet-Les Halles is a maze and heaven help you if it’s a touristy weekend.
Hong Kong: Central to Hong Kong station is walking thru a sea during rush hour
