The thing about large language models like GPT-3 and Lambda describing the experience of being self-aware is they can also describe the experience of being a squirrel.

Made two @Sonic_Pi tutorials about the density function.
1st video is an introduction to how the density function works: https://t.co/Hmkrdg85O0
2nd video is about using the density function to make Trap-style hi hats for a drum beat: https://t.co/08xJl2Eaos

I haven't played No Man's Sky for nearly 3 years (or any other game either, until recently). However, its latest update reminds me of all the fun stuff I feel they keep adding to the game, so I'm thinking of getting back into it!

How should I do this?
Tired of generic greetings?
Confuse your friends with AI-generated Valentine cards!

I don’t know if video games can, in their fundamental essence — vis a vis gameplay mechanics — be seen as art or whether they’re just media that contains art (such as visual art, music, narrative). Can the core gameplay mechanics of games really be seen as art?
I might attempt to hack a feature into @Sonic_Pi (at least in my own dev build) so that if you make a function that layers several synths, (not using Supercollider language), you can play it with the synth function as normal (including autocompletion).

Thread: an artist’s experience turning AI-generated imagery into a comic. Fascinating not just for technical detail but also on what worked and what didn’t.
@davidpine7@samaaron I'll let Sam comment on difficulty, but FYI we're already making several (slow) steps hopefully towards that idea - it's on our wishlist (vaguely alluded to here: https://t.co/VM4OphKcgV) 🙂
