@mr_hassan_ali@ConflictTR many dont seem to even understand what a cypriot is, this turks vs greeks narrative is for the retarded. I do wonder what they claim about everyone else living on the island.
@arsensamurai A true mental health issue for many turks, turkish north korea 2.0 rhetoric. Creating stories and cheering when cypriot villagers are killed.. where any civilian persons death by police\army is celebrated.
@Young_Turk_Cyp This turkish fascist from England makes an issue about an egg . Lets not forget its the anniversary of a murder of 2 Cypriot villagers in modern times. This somehow is ok for the fascists in London, Turkey and North Cyprus. They even view these murders an an accomplishment.
@makdrou The irony of the republic of Cyprus becoming similar to Turkey. First, contacting foreign press and make this case not continue in "silence" would be very important now.
To those who say "it's her choice" I used to say the same thing about my own Hijab.
I was covered head to toe. Even on the beach. Even with my male relatives. And when people challenged me, I said: this is my choice. You know why? Because the other option was burning in hell, hung by my hair for eternity. That's what they taught me since childhood.
Yes, let me repeat it for you to just understand about our version of βfreedom of choice.β I grew up in an Islamist culture that gave me two options. Cover yourself and go to heaven. Or don't cover, and be hanged by your hair and burned in hell.
Like when someone puts a gun to your head and says "you can go left or right", technically, yes, that's a choice.
I picked heaven. I called it freedom. And I believed it, because that's what happens when fear is all you've ever known.
And if you think I shouldn't be telling you my story, I don't care. I really, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, don't care. The women still living under that "choice"? I care about them.

@ottomanenglish The island is peacefull and the main problem here is turkeys military presence and threats, these tanks are still uneeded. Turkey is part of nato ,and there should be a joint nato base on the island instead.
@bulutuzay_ disciples of todays islamo Turkish North korea 2.0 , refuse to hear this. Why does always the arab quran or allah oakbar's daily seem to be ok as an identity instead.
@JackBlade67@DailyTurkic problem is not everyone else, but turkish society being in a sort of "turkish north korean" nationalist state. ofcourse there are similar persons in other countries, but in Turkey these numbers are on steroids. This needs to change.
@ragipsoylu Hellenic, roman then Byzantine. Greeks, speaking and writing Greek. Turks are today Turks because of their language identity. The double standard by todays turks is amazing.
@zachsagefox crazy people, everyone was refugee at some point in history. Take for example my great grandmother was a christian from ottoman Turkey and had to flee. I do not believe i can get a house there today, i prefer peace. These muslims always believe 100% in the most absurd
