@Neyoz08@juniordeutsch_ I can assure you Vanguard doesn't need it, as I have it completely disabled. But you got a point on Faceit, despite of tanking your FPS.
For me, CS2 version 1.41.5.5 and all versions back to the early AnimGraph 2 beta felt great.
Everything felt synchronized, responsive, and consistent. Spraying felt natural, movement felt clean, and the game was simply enjoyable to play.
The strange thing is that the more Valve kept tweaking and fixing things after AnimGraph 2, the worse the game started to feel.
We had multiple updates focused on recoil camera changes, aim punch adjustments, movement smoothing, foot IK, crouch timing, animation syncing, and various networking related tweaks.
On paper these changes sounded good, but for me the overall feeling of the game kept getting worse.
The biggest turning point was the Cache update.
Since Cache was released, the game has felt significantly worse.
Gameplay quality seems to have huge fluctuations from update to update.
Some days it feels decent, other days it feels completely off.
The consistency that existed around the start of AnimGraph 2 is gone.
And let's not forget the armor aim punch change.
I honestly don't know anyone who asked for it.
It feels unnecessary and only makes gunfights less enjoyable.
Right now the game feels desynced and floaty.
Sprays often feel delayed or unstable.
Sometimes it feels like what I see on my screen is not perfectly aligned with what the server sees.
My FPS is good and my ping is good, but the game still doesn't feel right.
I would really love Valve to take a deep look at the changes made after the AnimGraph 2 launch, especially around:
aim punch changes
movement smoothing updates
animation synchronization tweaks
crouch timing changes
subtick consistency adjustments
interpolation and prediction related changes
Because I know CS2 is capable of feeling amazing.
Version 1.41.5.5 proved that.
Somewhere after that point, something changed, and since the Cache update the game has never felt the same to me.
@valvesoftware please fix.
