The hotel's complementary water came in this cool aluminum bottle I quickly turned into my on-the-go container. Later, while waiting in airport security, I realize it's still on my backpack filled to the brim. Definitely not throwing it away and can't pour it out. (1/4)

Noise cancelling earphones are no good. Sure, you get to mute the world, but then you miss out on the lady waiting at McDonalds for her number to come up, on a speakerphone conversation with her toddler explaining that she loves him and why he shouldn't hit abuelita.
