There was this entire course in my veterinary technician schooling called ANIMAL NURSING. I was also tested on this when I took and passed my VTNE. The national exam where I obtained my professional license.

Idk who needs to hear this but doing annual reviews, giving raises, paying shift differentials, showing appreciation and value, giving PTO/vacation time, and offering benefits is the bare minimum. You’re not giving them the world when you’re simply meeting their basic needs.

The show ER was where I learned at 10 years old I wanted to work in healthcare. I worked in Emergency Veterinary Medicine for 10 years until I left due to burnout. Now I watch a show called The Pitt. If that doesn’t show Stockholm syndrome I don’t know what does.
