🇮🇱📝 Israeli Community Notes

Yeah, this one was weird.

What happened was that whenever someone posted a photo from the aftermath of the Nova festival, no matter what the caption was, a Community Note would appear.

It read:

“This was already debunked in November last year by basically every major news source in multiple countries.”

It would then go on to link multiple news articles.

Essentially, the Community Note was trying to disprove the claim that Israel used the Hannibal Directive, in which they used Apache helicopters, tanks, and gunfire to kill their own civilians on October 7, which is true by the way, and I’ll post a video with multiple witness testimonies saying exactly that.

But the thing is, nowhere in the tweets did they say anything about that.

Instead, the Community Note was automated to appear on every single tweet that posted that image.

Why would they go to such lengths to try and silence something, even when that something isn’t mentioned in the caption, if their narrative was absolutely valid?

It’s because their narrative wasn’t valid.

It is a FACT that the IDF fired on Israeli civilians using Apache helicopters, tanks, and gunfire on October 7; they just don’t want people to know it.

Now, this rabbit hole definitely goes deeper, but this is just a mini-thread with easily digestible information that clearly showcases that, yeah, Israel is botting X, and botting it hard.

Despite this, they’re still losing the online narrative because:

Today is was announced an unknown Threat Actor(s) had discovered an exploit in TikTok which allows users to hijack accounts.

Details are scarce – however it has been noted that the payload (as it is being described) is delivered through TikTok direct messages. The payload is executed when the direct message is read. However, it does not require any external files be executed, the user does not need to respond to the message, etc.

No details have been unveiled on whether or not this is platform specific (i.e. Android or iOS).

The unknown Threat Actor(s) have compromised Paris Hilton, CNN, and Sony. It is claimed other high-profile and/or celebrity accounts have been compromised, but no other 'high-profile' accounts have been disclosed other than the ones previously noted. The TikTok security team is aware of the issue and has confirmed the legitimacy of the exploit with Forbes.

TikTok representatives stated to Forbes that a small number of users were compromised. No exact numbers were given. TikTok representatives have not stated if the exploit is still valid, how users can protect themselves, or what the attackers have done with the compromised accounts.
