when u stop repressing ur asexuality u start realising how much ace people are excluded in the queer community because why the FUCK is everything about sex all the time 😭 i get that sexual freedom is important to queerness but do people really think about it that much 😭
Anthy was precisely why I made that tweet tbh, of course, her being a victim of incestous abuse is super important to her character of course but it feels like *some* fans see her as nothing but a victim when there is so much more to her than just her suffering.
Initial confusion has passed and now I can take a step back and appreciate that Yoshiki!! Confessed!! His feelings!! To both Hikarus now!!! He grew SO MUCH 🥹❤️❤️❤️
Also i would really love it if people stopped willingly ignoring 'hikaru's' aroaceness but since ig thats not convenient to their ship they'll consider him being aroace just romance lite because fuck us ig
'Omg why do you even care about OGHikaru he is so irrelevant to the story' HE LITERALLY HAUNTS THE NARRATIVE?? HIS DEATH TRIGGERS THE ENTIRE DOMINO EFFECT THE STORY IS BASED ON??? HIS NAME IS ON THE STUPID TITLE?????
Also. Have we considered. I can.
Like.
Both.
Hikarus.
The Summer Hikaru Died really proved that allorose people don't know how to engage with stories that aren't filled with romance & sex, especially queer stories.

Como me caga que las noticias ademas de televizar y mediatizar el trauma aberrante de un niñ@ lucrandose de este, no trate con pinzas como es necesario
La palabra "presunto" se siente tan asqueroso y nauseabundo.
Im so tired of seeing people with the "Oh woe is me, im always the victim and can do no wrong ever" mentality. Like bro ypu can be wrong... it is okay... sometimes you fuck up... that is okay. Just learn from it and do better ffs
it was my enthusiasm for BL that brought me to read TSHD but TSHD really isn't BL but something else entirely. it's such a unique and special queer story and even if i've entered the fandom at a rather tumultuous time i'm really glad i discovered it <3
what makes it special to me is the fact that i've been both. i grew up as hikaru, who didn't know being queer was an option and insisted that i was straight.
but i'm yoshiki now. i grew up, got out, and learned humans are a lot more complex than i thought. it's beautiful.
