@nick_matau@davidmdraiman@mark_slapinski The data refuting these ridiculous claims is abundant and easily accessible. It has been for a few years now. Anyone still spouting this nonsense is doing so in spite of all rationality.
@SenSanders What about the creative work of the people at OpenAI, Google, and anthropic to build and train these models? You’re just going to steal their work?
The Israel vs Islamists issue exposes a deeper problem and yet another way that Javier Milei wins.
The two sides are 1) Jews who you may like or dislike, whatever, and 2) terrorists who kidnap and slaughter babies and televise it.
So what’s the basis of the anti Israel positions? Sure some are just bigots and psychopaths, but many aren’t.
Those people will generally cite things like that Kristoff article. When pressed they’ll reject some of the claims made (like the IDF rape dog unit) because they’re obviously ridiculous, but they’ll believe the others. They don’t stop to consider that the same arguments were used for both claims and rejecting one necessitates rejecting the others. They believe the other claims because they “rings true”.
What’s the point? The point is that you can’t rationalize with someone who isn’t thinking rationally. You’ll make an argument, but they’ll just read something that “rings true” and move on like you never existed.
The fact is that western civilization cannot coexist with terrorists. So we eliminate them and move on. Let the irrational people cry about it.
On this Javier Milei particularly excels. Just don’t give them an inch.
