@RevIsaacWirtz The ark at that time held the presence of God. That statue does not. And if it was an act to worship God then, an equal act now cannot be lesser than one gives to God…so it’s not veneration it’s idolatry. Check.

@Heavennbound There’s a translation that says like the gods, meaning like Satan. Hebrew uses the same word for multiple gods or the Most high. It’s called a majestic plural and translators either guess or use context. And yes, the angels use this word.
