@splitmaude@BazBombadil Not necessarily, they could make the dialogue in a way where the spoken words forgo the played name but it still appears in text? Like using words like “you”, “him”, or other nicknames and such when spoken out loud. Other games have done this too.
@IAmNyxxFierce@dennis_wirz@zFau7@Zvbear It’s not even about having dick and balls or not, our pelvic structure makes sitting legs closed/cross legged a strenuous position. The most natural and relaxed way a man can sit is with space between the knees. But I digress only a little bit of space is truly needed
@JMulford43962@Zvbear I think the bigger problem is your legs will give out within 5 minutes of sitting with them closed. You have to contract your muscles to hold that position as it’s not a natural way to sit due to our bone structure.
@yarviy@austin7blackwel 1. The 3ds version was clunky and messy and 4k textures wont make it worth $60
2. I’m not convinced the remake is 1 to 1. We’ve already seen stuff from trailers and gameplay that wasn’t in the original game. And they’re probably not gonna spoil major additions to the game.
@nonameptnf@SlLENTPRINCESS If you played ocarina of time you’d know sheik is just a disguise that Zelda eventually abandons once it’s no longer needed. Are you sure you want that to be your representation for trans people?
@SlLENTPRINCESS Man I’m sorry but all this discourse about whether sheik is a man or not is so dumb. Who cares?? Whether sheik is or is not a man doesn’t change the fact that ocarina of time is a great game and the gender of a disguise really shouldn’t have people so up in arms.
@Mogtaki@KingRichard_TLH@ZeldaLoreYT It’s interesting because there’s an interview with Aonuma that makes me think at least one of the two Raurus is actually “Raul” but this could also be a writing mistake on the part of the interviewer I’m not sure.
@KingRichard_TLH@ZeldaLoreYT Funny enough, Rauru is technically a mistranslation. I’m pretty sure his name is actually Raul but In Japanese it ends up sounding like Rauru. As for whether it’s intentional in TOTK I’m not sure
@BossIgnostic@AbdullaClorox@severeerror52 The 3DS version was a remaster not a remake, all they did was swap out models and textures and I believe animations. They mostly kept all the original code, with a few tweaks and of course UI. I’m guessing they didn’t wanna flesh out the market area so they left the camera as is
@ragerfrm501@Marrowmtxv@Uber_Kryptonian Also yea imagine they called it “Green Lanterns” it does sound kinda corny like you don’t typically pluralize Green Lantern as a title, and also it’s ironically more flexible just calling it “Lanterns”
@ragerfrm501@Marrowmtxv@Uber_Kryptonian I mean they were joking obviously. But “Lanterns” is a good descriptor of the show, especially if we’re gonna see other colors. And cosmic level VFX on 8-9 hours of footage is not cheap, and dc definitely isn’t in a position to throw money around right now especially under WB.
@ragerfrm501@Marrowmtxv@Uber_Kryptonian How? I think realistically they went about it in the best way possible, there’s definitely budget reasons for keeping it mostly on earth in a small town, and having shape shifting aliens secretly running around is not only a good green lantern plot but a smart way to cut costs
@ComasLex@therealfarouk@yankeedraft No it’s honestly both of their faults. No matter what they do one of them will be unhappy. They’re sexually incompatible and should’ve called it quits from the start. The post literally says it’s been a problem for years
