@nicholas_branz@j32pmxr what's wild is they are aggressively calling existing fsd customer base telling them how much the value of the car has depreciated.
1) ones own question/instinct says something.
2) palo entering pam market via $25bil requires attention.
3) almost the entirety of firewall core biz in present day has nothing to do with AI. In the future things may change.
4) 2020 acquisition into sdwan has not produced a dime.
Have gotten a few inquiring minds - what happened to Nikesh? Why is he suddenly active on Twitter? I have to credit my friend @HarryStebbings for it. When we did the podcast he said podcasts allow you to take control of your own narrative, and so does X. "Nikesh - you should try and tweet once a day" if you have something interesting to say, your business will be perceived differently. I "rebuffed him", but then I reflected upon it and promised to give it a try, here's me trying in the last week. Should I continue?
@Osinttechnical Comments are filled with 'copying spaceX'. This concept has been taught in undergrad engineering in north america for decades. Pick up any Control Systems textbook to validate.
@jeb821@aut0m8d@helium JB - this is the core idea why all mvno/wholesale with carriers/telcos are busted. In practice, they degrade services, add random cost, break business models, and acquire to destroy if needed.
@nejatian tesla owner myself. it's a bad decision to own. it's the car you want to lease because of how fast it depreciates compared to any other type of vehicle. Ask anyone on HW1/2/3/4/4.5. Tesla will also call you asking you to trade-in, and tell you the how fast it depreciated. 🤦♂️
@DeWiGoSite Lot of good takes. Biggest error imo was the poor decision to pivot away from original mission to mvno/mobile stuff. The community of DIY-ers deploying hotspots really carried this project with almost no recognition, and unfortunately hurt by a few "grow traffic fast" ideas.
@acemoney21@OnodaCapital it's expected he will provide less forward guidance, but wouldn't it be a spectacle if the market forces his hand by creating some chaos (sudden drop) to see how he responds.
