@adamfare1996 In my case,because when I had physical problems that I could not control,I took refuge even more in food restriction and physical hyperactivity,because it seemed to me that they were the only two areas on which I could assert my control. So my need for control remained in balance
@adamfare1996 I am sure that being able to work and being "functional" from a working point of view is the only "normal" thing that has remained in my life.
The complexity of EDs means that one person's experience can be slightly, or sometimes entirely different from another person's. Because of this, there are symptoms we don't hear about or recognise in relation to #eatingdisorders

One thing about recovery is you spend a lot of time alone, quietly putting the work in and in turn losing a lot of friends. In the moments I want to disappear I think of how it’ll feel to be able to live a fulfilling life again
@lifeinunreality In Italy we use the term "psicotipo". I don't know if there is an English equivalent word (“psychotype “???). It means that the person has a psychiatric pathology, with completely individual characteristics and variability.
@Eugenia_Cooney True. The important thing is that those people take responsibility for the consequences if they dress in a way that is not suited to the environment in which they go.
TLDR; Basically, our weight is already determined. It's our genetics and our complex bodies will try to maintain weight within a preferred range.
