@akoseff@mayacmiller Does anybody really think the cost savings from making customers check themselves out is passed along to customers? If that were really true, every self checkout customer would get an exclusive discount off their bill.
@Patterdude@HeathFlora We need more Republicans who can stand up to Trump’s authoritarian disregard for the constitution. As a moderate, I used to vote for Republicans, but not now because they enable the thug President.
There is too much fatalism locking in these days about Trumpism and US foreign policy. Just because he destroyed USAID, VOA, abandoned democracy promotion, trashed international trade agreements, etc, does not mean that future US presidents have to do the same. Yes, it will take time to dig out of this whole, but we can and should.
@Patterdude@X Well I would like to use X to ask you all if when you voted for Trump you were voting for turning Canada into our enemy and turning Russia into our mentor?
@J_GallagherAD3 I’m concerned everyday about Trump/Musk ruining our country so billionaires can hoard more money. Unless Republicans disavow the mad king, their dishonor will be remembered.
@billessayli Says the party whose leader demands its members repeat the lie that Biden actually lost the 2020 election and Russia actually did not invade Ukraine.
@millanpatterson@realDonaldTrump The Republican momentum will stop when Californians see more inflation, higher employment, lower 401k’s, cuts in social security and more disease as a result of Trump siding with the KGB killer Putin and Billionaires who he needs to pay off. Republicans have been had.
Trump just cut off military aid to Ukraine that the U.S. Congress had already approved. Tragic.
Trump delivers stick to democratic Ukraine.
Trump gives nothing but carrots for autocratic, imperial Russia.
This is not strength. This is weakness.
Michael Mcfaul speaks for all patriotic, democracy-loving Americans. Trump has put the U.S. on the road to ruin and only the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet don't know it. 😳👇
When it comes to Putin, Trump is out of step with the American people:
"An overwhelming majority of voters (81 percent) think the United States should not trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, while 9 percent think the United States should trust him."
