I'm exceptionally nervous today.
My book is officially published!
A three year project has come to fruition. I hope it informs and inspires you when it comes to legal tech.

- Don’t forget the human aspect of the legal tech industry & the importance of talking through problems to address them head-on.
- Lawyers aren’t always aware of what their problems are, so remember to try & help them understand issues while you also look to discover them.
I attended my first #legaltech conference thanks to Timo Karakashev and the team at @CosmonautsLtd. I came away from Future Lawyer Week UK 5.0 with some great insights into the landscape of legal tech and wanted to share some of my top takeaways.
A thread 🧵
- Provide opportunities to explore and learn rather than forcing teams to adopt new tech.
- There is a mindset of finding the best solution available, but we should also consider the least possible evil because there will always be problems to deal with.
Excited to have @mmogill on the @lawyer_stories Podcast! I’ve been a fan of his since my early days of legal marketing & love the videos @CrispVideoGroup produce.
It’s great to hear his perspective on what it takes to be a game changing attorney! #legalmarketing
@Clevy_Law Just filmed a podcast on this exact topic! While buyers need to understand vendors are on their side, it’s equally important that vendors meet the standard set and work on the relationship building to satisfy both parties and work together on solutions.
Enjoyed having @TPatrickHurley of @thomsonreuters on the #ShapedforLaw podcast! He shares great insight into the priorities of one of the largest legal suppliers in the market, the exciting state of #legaltech and how technology allows lawyers to focus on the practice of law.
@TPatrickHurley of @thomsonreuters reflects on his remarkable career in legal technology and how far the industry has come, noting that “this is the most exciting time in legal technology.”

@jkubicki IMO, there are ‘missing legal skills’ that many lawyers develop in the real world. Such as business acumen, personal branding and networking. It would be great to see these taught more commonly but it is part of a new wave that hasn’t caught up to every institution… yet.
@jkubicki @PaulHSpitz @LeanLawStrategy This is so true. Especially with an increase in virtual law firms & young talent. I’ve worked with many lawyers with big law experience who start their own firm & have connections. The ones without that experience can still be as, if not more, successful.
Great article by @ScottDAnthony and @paulcobban on #digitaltransformation showing that people and culture play a significant role in advancing systems.
“The hard thing about these transformations isn’t the technology. It’s the sociology.”
