2 years ago, while building our own in-house doc editor, we kept hitting nasty sync issues.
Then I discovered @linear 's sync engine and was blown away by how fast & elegant it was. Still one of the most impressive pieces of engineering I’ve seen.

We’ve been a bit sloppy and letting rendering performance degrade over time on the @linear app. The app is still fast, but it can be faster. All hands on deck to ship small perf improvements over the next weeks and months. Issue page already renders 30% faster than it used to, much more to come.

If I decide to build a Twitch but better (open-source):

- 80–90% rev share

- Tipping API + PayPal/Stripe/crypto payouts

- AI discovery + tags

- No arbitrary bans, community mods

- Ultra-low latency 4K60, mobile-first

- Self-host & plugins
