my first big kid job offer was in rural South Dakota, and i ultimately did not take the job because living somewhere i didn't enjoy wasn't worth it. that is a perfectly valid reason not to accept an offer, no matter how good.
From the hiring editor files: Just heard that two young sports journalists who are seeking jobs, is not interested in covering a professional football team because they don't want to live in THAT city.
