The algorithms are making it a lot harder to spread the word about these online talks. Although numbers are still reasonable, it would be a great help if folk were able to give the 30 December event a quick share ๐

@MarekBidwell I hope your walk goes well Marek. Sadly you missed a walk past the oldest pub in Nottingham, the Bell not far from the market square. The trips claim was a clever marketing ploy by a landlord in the early 1900s who picked randomly picked the early date. It's old, but not that old
@MarekBidwell If you mean along the route marked on your map between Thoresby and Budby will be the highlight. Lots of veteran oaks in old wood pasture. The woods I visit most are further east and more typical of managed ancient woodland. Eaton, Gamston and Treswell are the best examples.
A fox had to be rescued from the Colwick fish pass observation platform this morning after being trapped in the grid. It need a smaller mesh to protect wildlife please @JacksonCivils@EnvAgency @NottinghamParks @Nottswildlife @ValerieHolt10
Hopefully the rain clouds will keep away until I've finished a chapter of Wild Service. Excellent so far. Powerful and thought provoking chapters beautifully written.
