Heart breaking 💔 Our young people deserve so much better….. Thanks for the share @PaedDentEastman
I’m 17 and haven’t seen a dentist for four years. This is life in England’s NHS dental deserts | Beth Riding | The Guardian https://t.co/sbCC8ZW6aK
“With lengthy NHS waiting lists and my 18th birthday rapidly approaching, it’s unlikely that I will ever see an NHS dentist again, unless some serious reform occurs.”
Beth Riding is an A-level student in Cornwall.
The PM needs to read her column.

🦷Could I ask @LeeAndersonMP_ what your new party are going to do about the NHS dental crisis and how they propose to fund it please? We have thousands of members who would like to be informed before they cast their votes later this year.
Cancer patients will see ‘few benefits’ of free dentistry, says BDA;
As MPs debate whether to extend free NHS dentistry to cancer patients, experts have expressed concern that those already eligible are not receiving care ⬇️

🦷Have just found out that the Cripps dental practice are now charging £60 for a hygienist appointment.
They’re also demanding that all appointments be paid up front when you make the appointment.
Another step that will prevent many people being blue to afford even NHS dentistry
🦷How is everyone doing this Saturday afternoon?
As we still await a true solution the NHS Dental crisis (and not a penny pinching pretend solution) I thought we could do with a laugh.
I saw this in Viz and it made me chuckle…
Lacking in both new funding and any real ambition this plan was repeatedly missold to parliament and to millions of patients.
Thanks to @PaulBlomfieldMP
I trust @wesstreeting, @PreetKGillMP and @libdemdaisy will pick this up.
🦷”Could”? I’d argue it already has. With millions of people having no access to NHS Dental services having to potentially go private if they are driven to it and those who do have an NHS Dentist struggling to pay the fees charged.
“Dentistry could become out of reach for the ordinary, everyday person,” says @CiaraGallGall
“And that can’t be allowed to happen.”
More on @BBCPM on how the amalgam ban could hit the patients who need us most.👇📻
🦷 NEW: 32 items of clear and concise feedback sent to SNEE ICB and they’re still pressing ahead with a fundamentally flawed plan. #nhsdentistry#dentalcrisis#suffolk@EADT24

🦷Public satisfaction with NHS dentistry is now at an all-time low.
Don’t let Ministers tell you this is all ‘the result of Covid.’
This is the result of their choices, and their failure to save NHS dentistry.👇
🦷Every Toothless group in East Anglia has heard stories from local patients who have pulled out their own teeth out of desperation.
Talking about round trips: One person told us the only appointment they could get for their mother, who lives in Ely, was in Harlow!
Thank you @PaulBlomfieldMP for asking the right question that sadly I had suspected the answer would be thus Jaw dropping but sadly didn’t surprise @TheBDA
.@DHSCgovuk just said:
“This figure is based on robust modelling which we will share with the committee. The minister simply meant that all modelling has an element of uncertainty.”
‘Unreliable’ or ‘robust’.
Which is it?!
