One of the tricks you see from disingenuous AI people, especially Anthropic, is an assertion that their prediction of the future is entirely correct and thus can be the basis for am argument.

They will say, "I predict X and therefore X is a fact."

But, no, it's just something that exists in your imagination.

This is why they tend to pivot towards apocalyptic doom pronouncements. Because then they can say, "well even if there's just a 1% chance of X, we should still act accordingly because X is so awful and scary."

They leverage doom to scare you so that you'll revert to loss aversion, the classical psychological trap that humans naturally fall into.
