Nightfall Refresh brings a suite of changes to shells, weapons, and more. Here's an overview of some of the big ones. Coming October 6!

NAOMI KLIEIN to SAM ALTMAN:

"...you ingested the entire written output of human civilization without consent, without compensation and without credit to build a system whose primary commercial application is eliminating the jobs of the people whose work you consumed.

You are not 'liberating human creativity' -- you are strip-mining it and selling it back at a markup while calling the theft 'training data'."

[P.M.K. @Don_Mosquito]

game literally had too much sauce for the average person I'm afraid

[Rose @NovaNull_]

@bubblecherry26 they're*

[Rose @NovaNull_]

@DemzDeliver you had nothing to do with this

[Rose @NovaNull_]

@raidbossreject wtf is this trend of trans fems trying to eat each other over some reheated millennial identity politics nonsense? The federal government is using its full weight to target us and the vast majority of us are poor, working class.

We need to be focused on universal material needs

[Rose @NovaNull_]

@MarathonDevTeam Get rid of bubbles, completely

[Rose @NovaNull_]

@SnoopR0cket @StebMcDreb This could be the case in Marathon if they nerf bubbles into the fuckn ground and nerf Misriah and Battle Pistol. Also… they should limit how many nades can be brought into a run. Nade spam is cancer

[Rose @NovaNull_]

@SupaKnight87 @StebMcDreb Problem is… this is an extraction shooter. You can have PVE modes… but you can not let players exfil loot into their vault.

If you do… then the loot economy will never work, wipes will never have the effect they do in Tarkov.

@massiveface Can you promise this is not AI art?

[Rose @NovaNull_]

Bought Marathon @MarathonDevTeam

Your art and commitment to making a distinct, challenging, and visually immersive game sold me.

I can’t wait to explore the game and learn from failure.

[Rose @NovaNull_]

@CalderDune @roun_sa_ville If I have intention of reading the entire (or the vast majority) of the full book series (including the son’s work) then should I just hold off?

Marathon | Factions System Explained:

There are six different factions, each with unique rewards, skill trees, and stat bonuses you can unlock that last the entire season.

• Arachne - Death cult who tasks you with killing other players.

• Cyberacme - Responsible for the systems that allow people to upload their consciousness into shells. Will task you with retrieving materials to upgrade your shell's durability.

• MIDA - Political party that became a terrorist group. Will task you with destroying things or uploading malware. This name should be familiar to Destiny or OG Marathon players.

• Nucaloric - Company that exists to "feed, clothe, and supply humanity with its most basic needs." Will task you with learning why the original Marathon expedition failed over a century ago.

• Sekiguchi - Responsible for the technology used to create the Runner Shell bodies. Represented by insects whose intentions are unknown.

• Traxus - The richest and most powerful corporation in Marathon. Will task Runners with retrieving specific weapons or mods.

As you rank up the factions, you'll earn rewards along the way, plus the ability to purchase exclusive items.

You're free to do multiple faction quests at any time, it doesn't permanently lock you to one.

Fun detail in Dune: The first time a male choir is used in the score is soon after Paul drinks the Water of Life, where he connects the Bene Gesserit to the male side of the genetic memory. Just beautiful stuff happening on every level in these movies.

@CabanaDrives2 Hey, do happen to have the clone wars animated series in it entirety?
